有人嗜咖啡如命，有人對咖啡嗤之以鼻。咖啡是否好喝，我們暫且不去爭論，但咖啡是全球第一大飲品卻是不爭的事實。最近幾年，咖啡生豆產量一直維持在1.35億60-公斤袋左右，而且還有增長的趨勢，主要是巴西、越南、印度和中國這些新興市場的增速遠高於傳統咖啡消費市場(參閱“全球10大咖啡消費國”http://blog.sina.com.cn/s/blog_692bf2b70102w94r.html)。全球每天的咖啡消費約在20億杯以上(參閱“人均喝咖啡最多的是哪些國家” http://blog.sina.com.cn/s/blog_692bf2b70102vzdt.html)，要保障全球咖啡愛好者喝上咖啡，“全球10大咖啡豆生產國”(http://blog.sina.com.cn/s/blog_692bf2b70102w9nz.html)功不可沒，這10大咖啡豆生產國從高到低的排名是巴西、越南、哥倫比亞、印尼、埃塞俄比亞、印度、洪都拉斯、墨西哥、烏干達和危地馬拉，這個排名毫無爭議，因爲咖啡生豆產量的數字是客觀實在的。但是，如果論及哪個國家的咖啡好喝時，爭議可就大了，因爲是否好喝在很大程度上取決於個人偏好，它沒有一個客觀、公正的量化指標。最近，THRILLIST網站(https://www.thrillist.com/drink/nation/the-world-s-best-coffee-growing-countries-ethiopia-kenya-colombia-and-more)組織了咖啡行業的11位專家，包括“反文化(COUNTERCULTURE)”咖啡公司的品控經理Timothy Hill,“咖啡師雜誌(Barista Magazine)的資深編輯”Sarah Allen,“烘焙師雜誌(Roast Magazine)”的出版人Connie Blumhardt，“哈特(Heart)咖啡烘焙商”的首席烘焙師Josh Hydeman(參閱 http://blog.sina.com.cn/s/blog_692bf2b70100obj1.html)，”知識分子(Intelligentria)咖啡“的副總裁，”麥德客普(Madcap)“咖啡的咖啡總監Ryan Knapp等等，讓他們給自己心中的十佳咖啡生豆生產國打分，最後統計出的結果是：</p>

第1名：埃塞俄比亞(662.5萬袋，60公斤/袋，2014年)</p>
<p>
第2名：肯尼亞(85萬袋)</p>
<p>
第3名：哥倫比亞 (1250萬袋)</p>
<p>
第4名：危地馬拉(350萬袋)</p>
<p>
第5名：哥斯達尼加(150.8萬袋)</p>
<p>
第6名：洪都拉斯(540萬袋)</p>
<p>
第7名：印度尼西亞(900萬袋)</p>
<p>
第8名：盧旺達(28萬袋)</p>
<p>
第9名(並列第8名)：巴拿馬(9.5萬袋)</p>
<p>
第10名(並列第8名)：美國(夏威夷)(約6.7萬袋)</p>
<p>
上述產量數據來自ICO(國際咖啡組織)。</p>

天朝的咖啡愛好者對埃塞俄比亞和肯尼亞排名第1和第2名可能沒什麼異議，但對哥倫比亞列第3 和巴拿馬列第9會有不服，原因是哥倫比亞的精品、莊園咖啡在天朝露面不多，而巴拿馬的翡翠莊園瑰夏咖啡卻頗有名氣。在天朝過去的很多年裏，哥倫比亞的Exelso(優秀級)商業咖啡多用作Espresso的拼配豆，Supremo(特級)商業咖啡一般做單品，但或許不少人不知道，哥倫比亞的瑰夏咖啡也很有名，而且價格也和巴拿馬的瑰夏咖啡一樣很高(參閱 全球10大最貴咖啡 http://blog.sina.com.cn/s/blog_692bf2b70102w7wn.html)。哥倫比亞咖啡在天朝的推廣任重道遠 (參閱 “杯測哥倫比亞瑰夏咖啡” http://blog.sina.com.cn/s/blog_692bf2b70102du5p.html)(哥倫比亞微批次(Micro-lot)小農莊咖啡 http://blog.sina.com.cn/s/blog_692bf2b70102e9nw.html)</p>
